Step 6: Ask the Questions

Hopefully by this point the prospect has watched the video and has checked off that they would like to set up their own plan, start part time or is interested in something they saw.

There are 6 questions that are recommended that you ask after someone has watched the video. We’ve developed this strategy from the book Go Pro, by Eric Worre. The questions are:

Question 1: What did you like best based upon what you’ve just seen?

Question 2: On a scale of 1-10, based upon what I just shared with you, where are you? 1 being you have zero interest and 10 you are ready to get started right this second.

Question 3: Hypothetically, if you got started in this business part time, how much would you need to earn per month in order to make this worth your time?

Question 4: How many hours a week, realistically, could you commit to developing that monthly $______ income?

Question 5: How many months would you be willing to work those ____ to ___ hours a week developing a $______ monthly income?

Question 6: If I could show you, Mike, how to develop a $______ monthly income working __-__ hours a week over the course of the next __ months, would you be ready to get started?

Example of a typical conversation:

Eg. You call them up..’So I saw that you were interested in possibly starting part-time, having a financial GPS and you had checked off that you might also want a little more information about life insurance and investments.’

Q – ‘Can I make a recommendation?’ A – ‘Absolutely!’

‘What I’d like to do, is set a time to get together either over zoom or in person and just go over this in a lot more detail. I’m going to introduce you to (Field Trainer) and you guys will really enjoy meeting him/her. This is going to be really exciting!’

Q – ‘So as far as us getting together, what works best in your schedule, Zoom or in person?’ A – ‘Zoom!’
Q – ‘Weekdays or weekends?’
(They may just tell you a time and day..but if not…)
A – ‘Weekdays.’
Q – ‘Ok, the beginning of the week or later in the week?’
A – ‘Later in the week.’
Q – ‘Would Thursday or Friday be better?’
A – ‘Thursday!’
Q – ‘During the day or after work?’
A – ‘After work.’
Q – ‘Would 6pm work or would 8pm be better in your schedule?’
A – ‘8pm is good!’
Q – Perfect! I have you down for Thursday night at 8 pm. Do you have that
written down in your calendar there?

A – ‘Yes!’
Q – ‘Ok! Would you like me to send you a reminder on Wednesday or am I good just to show up on zoom and you’ll be there?’
A – ‘We will be there!/Yes, send me a reminder!’
‘Ok I will text you the zoom code as soon as we get off the phone and I look forward to seeing you guys Thursday night!’
